With our Season 16 theme, Resounding Movement: Can You Feel It?, we highlight a simple truth:
Change comes slowly, until it doesn’t. Next season, Our Voice Milwaukee will bring you performances that reveal possibilities, inspire you to stand up, and promise to stoke your imagination, all so we might join together building better, more inclusive community.
DECEMBER 5 & 6, 2026
Our December concert picks up on that theme by wrestling with the competing forces of commercialism in contrast to the deeper meaning embedded in holidays spent in relationship and in community. We’re calling the concert Hallmarked Homos. Has commercialism got a hold of you? Where do you find value and sustenance when you’re pulled away from your center? Yes, the commercialism of the season is fun! Even so — the time comes to escape, to search for lasting meaning. Let OVM’s holiday embrace entertain you, lift your spirits, and show how you belong!
MAY 1 & 2, 2027
Our spring concert promises to be a tour de force as we celebrate the movements that have led to
today while at the same time asking “what’s next, how can we open the doors of inclusion even wider?” The spring concert is entitled Stitched Together: Remember – Move Forward. Musical movements are parts of a whole. Social movements begin in segments until momentum builds and more people link together, propelled towards meaningful change. Each of our voices has a place in a future that we can help shape. Together we keep marching on.
As a special feature of the spring concert, we are hoping to fund the display of several panels
